Andy Shaw Band

 Andy Shaw Band and Homestead Beer Co. have come together to create a unique vision of the standard beer-and-band collaboration. It has been a dream of Andy Shaw’s to find more creative ways to include charitable actions in everything the band does. ASB presented Homestead with the idea to create a beer, release a new single, put on a show, and support a charity all at the same time. Homestead, always eager to support local musicians and organizations, jumped on it. 

Shaw-Hio is the result of their teamwork, a slightly hazy and fully refreshing IPA that leaves you ready for one more. Named for ASB’s newly released single “Ohio”, a song that is ultimately about hope and healing. Andy Shaw had this to say about the single “Ohio is a song about where I am from. Not just literally but where I come from personally, musically… and how in order to learn and grow you sometimes have to leave a part of who you were behind.” One dollar of every beer sold will go to support the Dude Charity, one that is near and dear to Homestead. Dude Charity, inspired by acts of random kindness and extreme fandom for The Big Lebowski, created an organization that donates time and money to a different local charity each month.
